    Electrode production for lithium ion batteries involves a series of process steps: stone powder supply, sludge mixing, coating, drying, calendering, secondary drying and slitting. In some cases, chemicals are used that are highly harmful to the environment, which is why modern production processes always include solvent recovery and reprocessing. To clean the VOCs produced in all these processes from the exhaust air, catalytic oxidation ACP is ideal.

  • FINISHING AND COATING OF BATTERY CELLS

    When coating battery cells, a composite film made of aluminum and resin film is usually used. The cells are laminated with this film to seal the layered electrodes. For this purpose, an adhesive is applied that has both high adhesion to dissimilar substrates such as aluminum and resin and high resistance to the acidic electrolyte inside the battery cell. The VOCs and other pollutants produced during this production step are sustainably and efficiently cleaned from the exhaust air using the catalytic oxidation ACP.
